Houston Brides & Bering’s Wedding Professionals Reception
We have enjoyed assisting brides and grooms with their wedding registry and fine stationery for years and as a way of working with more newly engaged couples, we recently partnered with Houston Brides Modern Luxury Magazine for a wedding professionals reception. It was a Bering’s first, since our focus has always been on the soon-to-be brides and grooms, but it was a lovely event and served as a chance for us to meet the wedding professionals that our brides speak so highly of for their big day.
Bering’s first wedding professionals’ reception turned out to be a beautiful event and we are pretty sure all who attended had a fun time! The event was made successful thanks to not just Houston Brides Modern Luxury, but all of the vendors that generously sponsored the event. LG Entertainment, Petite Sweets, Balushka Paper Floral Artistry and Lemond Catering all did an amazing job and we think you’ll agree after taking a look at some of the pictures!
Our Bissonnet store location closed early and rolled out the red carpet for the professionals who were met with a step and repeat wall of beautiful Balushka Paper Floral Artistry flowers!
Once wedding professionals had their picture taken, the walk-way was lit by LG Entertainment and shined right into the gift shop. There, attendees enjoyed sips of champagne and gorgeously decorated tabletops. We even had a special table for Bering’s Bride, Molly Johnson, Houston Brides Magazine’s publisher! It was fun to put the spotlight on her!

Once planners and wedding professionals had a chance to see the wedding registry items available in our gift shop, LG Entertainment continued to light the way through our furniture department, straight to the lawn & garden department where they were greeted with tasty bites from Lemond Catering and beautiful macaroons hand-crafted by Petite Sweets of Houston!

Petite Sweets is famous for their bite size desserts made from scratch, ranging from French macaroons, cake balls, mini cupcakes, assorted marshmallows, cookies, and even gelato and frozen custard ! You should see their gorgeous wedding favors, cake ball towers and custom flavors, colors and designs!
*Fun to note, Petite Sweets will be working with a calligrapher to do some fun writing on their macaroons. Brides and grooms will be able to order macaroons with lettering, monogramming and names!
The party continued on into our stationery department where attendees experienced all things fine paper ranging from wedding invitations, shower invitations, personal stationery, Balushka Paper Floral Artistry and so much more!
…And adding to the glowing ambiance that LG Entertainment set-up with custom lighting, their very own, DJ LG, kept smiles on everyone’s face thanks to his perfectly selected music!
As the reception wrapped up, Houston Brides Modern Luxury staff were gracious enough to have attendees fill out forms for their chance to win a Juliska delft blue platter and Waterford Lismore toasting flutes!
Attendees left with Bering’s truffles boxed in pretty pink boxes and a 75th anniversary tote filled with event goodies!
