Celebrating Anniversaries

Regardless if you are currently engaged, would like to be, or have been married for years, we all know wedding anniversaries are extremely special. After all, a wedding anniversary marks the continuation of a couple’s commitment to one another.

Anniversaries recently came up, when friend of mine sent out an email to a handful of her friends asking for gift ideas for her one year wedding anniversary. My husband and I have been married for about a year and a half, so the anxiety of what to give your husband on this momentous occasion definitely hit home. It also prompted me to wonder about the traditions surrounding wedding anniversaries.
